PACEMD promotes sustainable and climate-smart agriculture as a pathway to food security, environmental sustainability, and resilient livelihoods across Africa. We support farming systems that protect natural ecosystems while improving agricultural productivity, nutrition, and economic opportunities for communities.
Our agricultural initiatives focus on climate-smart farming, regenerative agriculture, organic food systems, agroforestry, farmer training, and sustainable land management practices. We work closely with farmers, cooperatives, youth, women, and agricultural stakeholders to encourage environmentally responsible farming methods that enhance resilience to climate change and environmental degradation.
PACEMD also supports knowledge-sharing, innovation, and access to sustainable agricultural technologies that help communities improve food production while conserving soil, water, forests, and biodiversity. Through capacity building and community empowerment, we aim to strengthen food systems and reduce vulnerability to drought, famine, and economic instability.
By promoting sustainable agriculture, PACEMD is helping build resilient communities, healthier ecosystems, and a greener future where food production and environmental conservation thrive together sustainably.
